Fukusaki Town. A small town embraced by the rich scenery of nature.
Here, you won’t find breathtaking “spectacles” that stop you in your tracks.
But if you listen carefully, from the mountains, the riversides, the fields, the meadows,
and even the quiet gaps in human life, you’ll hear whispers of things beyond human.
The wind speaks, the water speaks, and the people speak.
Welcome to Fukusaki, where all things have a voice.
Fukusaki Town is located in the southwestern part of Hyogo Prefecture, historically known as Banshu or Harima. It prospered as a key transportation hub where major highways intersected, connecting the east-west and north-south regions. On May 3, 1956, the town was formed through the merger of Tahara Village, Yachigusa Village, and the former Fukusaki Town. Even today, it remains a vital hub, with the JR Bantan Line and the Bantan Expressway running north to south, and National Route 312 and the Miki-Shiso Prefectural Road running east to west, serving as “arteries” for the flow of people and goods.
At the same time, Fukusaki is surrounded by lush green mountains, with the clear stream of the Ichikawa River flowing through its central area. It is a rural town blessed with a rich environment and historical heritage.
